I was playing Apex today with no issues. I ran the update later today and then started getting this error.
I repaired the 1) Apex files, 2) reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat, 3) disabled the Razor Cortex app, 4) deleted the Steam download cache, and 5) Rebooted the system 2x. I am only running my VPN, and the Steam Client app.
I am creating a backup of the game files and going to try a delete and reinstall next.
Deleted the game and reinstalled. Then I did a "verify file integrity" and it found bad files. I did a repair again and rebooted the system. Still getting the same error.
Same identical situation. I've contacted support... If you solve your problem let me know how....
When i reinstalled the game through steam it installed one instance of the game, then when I opened EA App it told me the game was not installed??? So I installed the game and it created a second instance of the game. As an IT professional that is never a good thing. WTH is up there should be a single download and support page that creates a single instance of the game.
I cannot play Apex... Since the update yesterday I keep getting an "Integrity Error 0x000002". I can't seem to get any support from EA to fix the error. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game 2x now. Error is supposedly related to some kind of service running in the background but doesn't identify which. My graphics card (Nvidea) and mouse (Razor) install background apps closing them doesn't help.
I was told to remove or turn off Daemon Tools. I have a Theta Miner that uses Python and has daemon.server.py and daemon.client.py that run in the background when the miner app runs. They do not appear to run unless the app is running. If I delete these files I will loose access to the tokens in my account. Those are the only Daemon tools I can see.
Reformatted the hard drive reinstalled Windows - minimal applications installed. Only VPN, EA App and Steam. Now steam fails to download the game. EA downloaded the game but I get the same error when I try to run it.
yeah me 2 no man apex anticheat system is so bad it raw accel not working and the error is now on for no reason
Hey bro, I saw ur post and I had the same problem. Found a solution. I tried everything online, no luck. I've never had rewasd or anything, had ds4 for some car games, 2k hrs on apex. Anyway I pressed (windows key + X) went to device manager, under storage controllers and universal serial bus controllers, I delete both daemons that were there because them being disabled did nothing. Reboot, Apex works. Hope this helps 🙏
