@WhereIsWomble let me share a story of mine as well, after trying 5 times to get elevated to L2 respawn tech support, I was told to wait until 1 AM, 3 hours from my original chat time with the agent, to be connected with a level 2 expert agent. I was puzzled by this but continued and waited, when i returned to the ea help page, the button to chat with an agent is completely gone, and hasnt returned since. I haven't checked to see if they locked my account for asking for too much help, or they turned off live chat because of Fifa 20. Either way, they lied to me and now refuse to even listen to my questions. and regarding the way the "community" manager is handling this, hes really not doing a good job keeping us updated and I think this is pretty indicative of how EA tends to deal with the support required for their games post launch.

it's unfortunate, but when things like this happen. The game will die; and the next 'big thing' will take it place!

As mentioned earlier. We desperately need another way of handling these "unintended features" - haha!

Well at least hes here, heres my diag. This has been happening on both AMD and Intel systems in terms of CPUs and has been happening on only Nvidia hardware from what I understand but I could be wrong.

I spend hole last 2 weeks to fix that issue, i study half Web and was close to kick all in trash,  here some checklist, may someone helps. 

Check:

[  ] Standard: drivers and dxdiag

[  ] nvidia dedicated gpu choosed

[  ] faulty vram (Video memory test)

[  ] faulty ram (memtest)

[  ] Power setup check

[  ] furmark and prime95 run Same time for temps and constant gpu MHz 

[  ] chipset drivers special realtec chipset

[  ] win built is 1903 (solved 1 prob)

[  ] faulty comulative win Updates deinstalled (specially KB4515384 and KB4482887) 

[  ] important win Update KB4489899 for fix ...887 issue (solved 1 prob) 

[  ] clean origin/apex Cache

[  ] reinstall eac and Set priority to low

[  ] Samsung evo issues, Samsung magical Update ssd

[  ] crystal disk Check hdd/ssd for issues

[  ] Set in registry GameDVR_Enabled to 0

[  ] mysticlight / msi Light conflict

[  ] win spatial/sonic headphones bug 

Iam not 100% Sure wich one solved my probs but they are solved. I think most conflict came from several win Update with audio Bugs

Is there no better solution than us waiting on a forum? I understand as a developer myself that trying to solve a bug which is incredibly difficult to reproduce locally is frustrating. But information such as that; "it's hard to reproduce locally here are the steps we've taken..." - Is IMO fantastic news and community building!

There is the Trello board which has 3 "General bugs" is there no place we can get more detailed information?

If EA/Respawn help us by saying what they have tired and central place to contribute too I.E. Trello, Jira, VSTS, GIT anything - other than this forum Then surely that's good all round?

@Dimon1777 @Sil3ntTer @WhereIsWomble So I was able to fix the problem on my 3700X, ASUS TUF x570 with a RTX 2070 SUPER by reinstalling Windows 10 via the Windows reinstall tool.

I unplugged all my hard drives aside from my SSD and did wipe everything, ran all the updates, updated my driver and it works like a charm. Fully functional max frames back to normal fully updated Windows 10 pro. Not sure what fixed it.

Same issues here. Hopefully S3 update fixes itself, but if not here's mine.

@SUCC-K3rm1t, thank you for information, but I'm on Win7, and considering this OS is still supported by microsoft, and all other games run well, I don't see any reason to install Win10 (it's going to take a lot of time to ajust my other job realted software) only beacause of a bugged game.

Rivatuner OSD works if you run it after the game has started up btw.. the results were telling

Before issues:

FPS- 144

CPU usage- 100%

GPU usage- 35%

Performance now:

FPS- 47

CPU usage- 80-90% (never 100%)

GPU usage- 20% 

There is nothing wrong with the optimisation of the game as my fps is limited even when CPU and GPU usage are below 100% plenty of VRAM and RAM to spare.. there is something weird gong on for sure.

Side note: My fps gets worse the further the distance my PC is rendering or if there are other player models on screen. When alone in a building looking down in a corner I get 80fps but my usage is not maxed out like I said above

and i check GPU work in game. it still run 50% and my FPS is 40-50 in land

New season update but no fix, I'm done. bye.

New update doesn't fix anything. Thankfully, Call of Duty is coming out soon.

Man, does it feel good to uninstall Origin. 

And it's still there, nice job Respawn and EA.

I know it can be disappointing to jump into the new update only to find the game performing with lower FPS from your end, but let's really try to keep the post on topic with the information we are requesting above or any helpful details on what has helped increase FPS while the team is still investigating this. The more relevant information we keep here the less off-topic comments everyone will have to work through for troubleshooting.

For Nvidia users a new driver has been released and there is a known issue with the game flickering for Apex Legends they are currently aware of.

We'll provide updates for you all on this as soon as we find out more information from the team.
