Re: Low FPS problem with Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3070

Maybe my problem has been solved.
Now, in any case, it always outputs 165 fps.

The cause was the virtual memory setting in Windows.
I am currently using 32GB of memory for a total of 4*8.

With the help of this web site I disabled the virtual memory setting.
https://www.trishtech.com/2014/11/disable-virtual-memory-in-windows-10/

Then, the problem of reduced fps was solved.

Note: I heard that Apex Legends may crash with an error if you use the above settings from season 10.
I've been playing for about 24 hours now with virtual memory disabled and have yet to see any errors.

@takedamitsunari I have the same problem. I'm using an RTX 3070 and ONLY have FPS drops in Apex, is my RAM too small or too slow? Use 16GB RAM (2133MHZ).

16gb ram is more than enough, the speed isnt the best but you wont see 100fps increase from going higher.

Apex itself runs like poop during peak hours compared to night times.

Also depends on what mood the servers are in.

Be sure to check power plans in windows.

Look into using configs etc, i would recommend using this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7oF-rQWZfw

This will make the game look bad so dont bother if you care about graphics.

But it will give you a good performance.

BUT DO NOT USE!! -HIGH as a launch command, only causes problems.

    Same goes for taskmanage priority.

And i suggest using Rivatuner as an FPS cap for apex rather than capping it in launch commands or configs since it breaks the game

I am not good at English, so I use a translation tool. Sorry if it's hard to understand.

    What CPU are you using?
To maximize the performance of the GPU, you also need the performance of the CPU.
Either way, I think you'll need more than 3000MHz of memory.

I did the following four things to solve this problem.

    1. Disable all CPU power saving settings from BIOS (C-State, etc.)

    2. Do the same settings as in this video.
This is the PC setup of a pro player on valorant, but I think it works for all FPS.

    3. Increased memory from 16GB to 32GB due to lack of memory.

    4. set up #11. This is my solution.
I disabled the virtual memory setting and saw a dramatic improvement.
However, a friend of mine did this setup and saw a significant drop in FPS.
If you have insufficient memory, your FPS may drop.
Make a note of your original settings before you change them.
