It's the item you can throw down that stops you from taking ring damage. I've been seeing reports of crashes when you're nearby one of them on AMD video cards, so I was curious if that might be happening here as well.
no i cant even load into the lobby it crashes while its loading maybe like 10 seconds after i lauch it from origin

Ah, I see.
Have you been watching your hardware temperatures and usage while Apex Legends is running? If so, are you seeing anything strange there?
how do i check that while opening apex???

There are a few different programs you can use to monitor your temperatures. Since you have Radeon Software installed, you should be able to see your CPU and GPU temperatures and usage on the Performance tab.
You can launch Radeon Software, then leave it running while you launch Apex Legends. See what the usage and temperatures look like around the point that Apex Legends is crashing.
when it crashed my CPU was at 70C and my GPU was at 55C it was climbing while it was loading then it started to fall and I thought I was in cuz a prompt came up on apex to click to play or something and when I clicked it my pc restarted

Thanks for taking a look! Those temperatures seem fine. I think in order to get a clearer look at what might be happening we might need to look at an MSINFO. Could you pull one up and share it here when you have a chance?
You can find more details on how to find the MSINFO at the EA Help site. Thanks again.

I saw that, but it's been about a month since you shared that one. I was hoping to see a more recent one so we can look at the error logs that have been added since then.

Thank you! I appreciate that.
Looking at the more recent error reports, it looks like there are still some Radeon Software processes that are crashing. I think it might be best to reach out to AMD Support and share the MSINFO with them to see if they have any ideas on what can help stop the processes from crashing.
You can find more info on how to reach them at the AMD support website.
