Steam says my game is running while I already exited the game. I look for apex in task manager but it is not there. I shutdown my PC and then open to see Apex saying its running while i just shutdown and boot up my PC. I am stuck in this moment for an 1 hour
Try restarting your PC.
Do not use the power down button or the shut down option, try using the restart option as this does much more than just simply booting down the device.
If that doesn't resolve it, open an admin command prompt and use this command: shutdown /s /f /t 0
It will shut your system down, properly closing everything.
And if it persists after that, try repairing the game.
same issue as well unistalled steam and game thinking that would fix the issue but nope only way is to restart pc which is annoying coz i don't want to have to restart just to play a game every time does this do it if anyone is playing on ea desktop or is just steam ? come on ea fix this
It's EAC used process hacker to found out what's happening with the system process using so much cpu and elevating the cpu temperature as well, game won't close unless I reboot my system, getting one of my cpu cores stuck at 100%. same exact thing happening with Lost Ark which uses EAC too
