Hello kuiizu,
are you getting an error message, when you try to submit a ticket? What exactly is greyed out when you try to contact an advisor? At which stage of creating a ticket are you getting this issue?

You can unlink platform accounts from your EA account through the customer portal. If the account was only recently linked, it might say that there's a six-month waiting time to relink the account again - in that case, I would recommend contacting Support again and explaining your situation. They might be able to help you relink the Steam account to your EA account.
If you cannot create a case because the contact option is greyed out, please try a different browser or device to see if it will work then. Let me know if you have further issues with the contact option.
