I'm not seeing issues on our end right now. Could you share a screenshot of the server error you're getting, as well as let me know what platform you play on?

I'll also share some connection troubleshooting steps that I recommend you try. Hopefully they'll solve whatever connection issues you're having.

Whenever I start a ranked match, I get kicked out practically every time and receive a penalty; yesterday it happened several times.
