Settings not saving

Every time I get on Apex on my Xbox, it keeps telling me to accept the terms and conditions and I always accept them, but it always resets my controller settings and I always have to fix my settings before I can even play the game. I tried to reinstall it, but it still happens, and it still resets my settings is there a fix to this issue?
