sh_dev_utility.nut: CLIENT SCRIPT COMPILE ERROR: Undefined variable "GetAllItemF

I have run into a problem with launching the game. The game boots to the server selection and accesibility options fine. When I click Continue, however, the game starts loading the intro cutscene and then crashes with an error that reads:

Engine Error

sh_dev_utility.nut: CLIENT SCRIPT COMPILE ERROR: Undefined variable "GetAllItemFlavors"

I have found that clearing -dev or -developer from launch options would fix that. However I have no launch commands active. The same error happens on both Steam and Origin versions of the game. I have had Apex Legends installed when it first came out, uninstalled it when I got bored and my theory is that perhaps some setting is saved in my registry or something like that. I do not have the expertise to safely edit or remove any registry files on my own, so I'm here, hoping someone could give me some advice or point me to a place where I could obtain more information on how to deal with this.

After scouring my PC for any cfg files i managed to find a cfg file named "Settings" in C:\Users\User\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local

It was set to read only and had the "developer 1" command. After editing it out i was succesfully able to launch the game.
