Since Dx12 Apex is only visually displaying the top left Quarter of the game?

Basically since launching in Dx12 mode Apex only shows on the top left quarter of my monitor. I've been playing around it by launching in Dx11 mode, but since that is not an option anymore... I've reinstalled drivers and dxdiag but all seemed ok?

NoVaX-AcE  Thanks for the DxDiag log and the screenshot.

From what I can tell, the DxDiag log appears to be in order and the GPU looks to be updated, (like you've said, you had reinstalled the GPU driver), and the screenshot looks like the issue may be related to the game's video settings.

One thing you could try is to delete the "videoconfig.txt" file located here:

    • %userprofile%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local

Note: Before you delete the "videoconfig.txt" file, back it up somewhere else incase it wasn't the issue.

Additionally, when booting up the game, try launching the game without any advanced launch options.

Here's how to check to see if the game is using any advanced launch options:

    EA App:

    • Go to library
    • Select Apex
    • Click on "manage"
    • Click on "view properties"

    Steam:

    • Go to library
    • Select Apex
    • Click on the settings gear
    • Click on "properties"

    Epic:

    • Go to library
    • Click on the 3 dots below the game
    • Click on "manage"

You could also try repairing your system's files, (incase that was somehow the issue):

    • Open the Command Prompt in administrator mode

    • Type, "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
Note: DISM stands for "Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool". It often repairs Microsoft related files, such as issues with Window apps. Some problems with the next file checker can only be fixed after running this one first.

    • Now type, "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
Note: sfc stands for "System File Checker". This one will repair system files, (such as important Windows drivers).

    • Lastly, restart your PC.

Note: You may also need to check the Windows graphic settings, (Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics), and your Nvidia App's graphic settings incase those settings are conflicting with Apex.

I've run through every step in the process, unfortunately the problem persists. I've also tried changing the resolution and resetting the driver settings in the NVIDIA "App" but it isn't working.
