slow download rate when updating apex legends.

so i was trying to update the new version of apex legends, but the download rate is so slow that the speed is around 60-90kB/S. my interent speed is pretty fast but i thought it was something to do with my isp. so i tried downloading a game from steam and it was really fast. getting around 4-5mB/s. can someone please help me solve this ☹️
