Steam Account Link After Pishing
Hello.
I recently had a problem with my Steam account. It would appear that during a long period of inactivity on the EA client someone, via pishing, linked a Steam account to my EA accouynt.
I was able to resolve this since these people got themselves banned on Apex Legend. Through an appeal I revoked the ban and unlinked the Steam account.
The problem is, however, I now cannot link my real Steam account!
It seems a bit absurd to me that if you link an account and then unlink it you can never have others of the same type linked. If someone is in a situation like that they are screwed.
Can anyone tell me if there is a chance that someone can intervene in this particular case to allow me to link my Steam account for another time?
I've tried through support but it's impossible to talk to anyone, just links upon links that always link back to the same pages.

Login if you haven’t already, and click start chat, wait whatever minutes it tells you to and a chat should appear, do not refresh or leave page. And go through the process and say that you want to ‘link new steam account’
