Here is the list of things I have done:
Rebuilt ps4 database
Uninstalled and reinstalled
Changed dns settings to google
Tested network
Unplugged astro usb and razer controller usb
Hard reset
Entered ALL of the playstation and apex legends ports on my router
Restored licenses on ps4
Apex Legends is the only game that has this problem, of not getting out of the very first apex page, the poster, with wraith, wattson and octane. It just won't get past it. Starting this game can take nearly 30 mins of closing app and reopening. Apex legends is up to date and saved to PS4 internal harddrive.
I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem? Its a nightmare for when I am streaming.

Have you tried changing the DNS on your PS4?
There were others on PS4 getting stuck at the loading screen for Madden 20 and were able to solve it by switching the DNS. Here's the post.

So I have huge problem I’m level 100 in Apex and I can’t play ranked I play on ps4 and I have huge connection issues. I can’t play with friends unless they join me. Trying to play ranked is a nightmare hell just trying to get into the game is a nightmare please if anyone knows any quick fixes please reply
- 6 years ago@EA_Blueberry I’ve done everything in this thread even spoke to EA support on the phone. Still nothing. Unless you know of a problem with Apex and google Wifi not playing together well.

Try reinstalling the game on the internal drive and if your PS4 is close to being full on space it helps to clear up space. If textures are having trouble loading that can be traced back to data not transmitting back and forth fast enough or packet loss. Run a UO Trace from the link below (has to be done on a PC/laptop) to see how your connection is reaching our servers.
Check the following in your router's admin panel:- Is IPv6 enabled?
- Is there a router firmware update?
- Do you have QoS enabled where gaming is prioritized?

I've been having this exact same problem for almost 6 months I've tried every single suggestion watched every video and called ea, I'm uninstalling this game . Ea you need to figure your * out before you release such a faulty product 0/10 absolutely horrible.

@EA_Blueberry I have actually recently had a very similar issue yesterday and wanted to give you some insight on what exactly happened. I was playing ranked and the game froze. I didn't get a error until I closed the application via playstation console. And the game closed I attempted to reopen the game and it proceeded to freeze and then give me the error again when I closed the application just like before. So I decided to resdowbload the game to see if maybe the files got corrupted. Now it will freeze showing the season 8 launch screen with the orange and Fuze on the screen and that's it. I believe the error is account based not people's networks. The error is a basic game crashed error code that playstation gives people. Hopefully you can see what is going on based on exactly what happened
