Did you guys notice something apart from the high cpu usage? I asked my friends (they don't have this problem on their PCs) yesterday about their disk usage, and they said apex uses about 0.5/1.2 MB/s. Then I checked back one of the screenshots I made and boom, apex used 44-50 MB/s of hdd. But why? What's the reason? So alongside high cpu usage, there's an abuse of our HDD/SDD. I wonder what they could be doing while writing on our disk with that speed?

mine is on 90-120 mb/s (SSD) at first im thinking of it as "the game is just preloading things" but who knows.

Hey guys, so after i wrote those comments, i uninstalled geforce experience, then windows prompted an update (KB5005033). I installed it, and now the game isn't using as much cpu or disk as it did in those screenshots. Stuttering reduced. I am not sure if this is going to last or if it's a fix. I am treading carefully. Hopefully the residue of stuttering that's still in there gets patched as well. Please report back if you did these steps and let me know if your cpu/disk usage is less drastic.
1- Uninstall Geforce exp.2- Install windows cumulative update 21h1 or 20h2 (KB5005033). It's about 600 MB.
Disclaimer: This is not a fix by Respawn, and I think the problem is going to get back as long as Respawn does not patch it. Yes, it reduces stutters, the game becomes a little playable as opposed to earlier, but I do not trust this will forever fix the game's inherent bugs. So Respawn needs to step in to fix this for good. But try this and report back please!
- 4 years ago@AbysmalEzGame The win10 update was rolled out on the 10th, but my laptop just got it. But I am not sure which has reduced the stuttering, the win10 update or uninstalling Geforce. Anyway, this is not to be thought of as a fix. It's just something temporary.

Guys, did anyone try this? Cos I didn't see anyone replying to what I said. The game is stable for now after I have done these steps. No 100% cpur or disk. Please report back! Still, it wasn't respawn who delivered this fix. It could probably be just mere luck that fixed my game. Anyway, i'm waiting for someone to confirm this.
