This profile is not permitted to play online

 When I load apex legends, almost always, like 95% of the time, I get a prompt saying "This profile is not permitted to play online", I had this issue somewhere in season 9 but I just spammed the retry button for like 1 minute and it would let me in, but now in season 19 I spammed the retry button and then the continue button appeared and I cant get past the continue button even when the prompt is gone, I have to close the game multiple times until it would let me in without the prompt appearing, when I enter from my PS4 account I dont have this issue is only in my PC account. My PS4 account havent merge with my PC account so they're still two different accounts just to clarify.

  • I had an account merge on the 1st November (the day after the new season came out) and I haven’t been able to play Apex since. Half of the time I open the game, it pops up with “this profile is not permitted to play online…” which I know is not true. When it actually lets me open the game, I cannot ready up, join matches or join friends lobbies and on top of that the level and XP bar have disappeared from above my legend’s head.

    just to note- I have not had any of these issues before until after the cross progression update.

  • I'm also experiencing this problem. Today is the first time I try to play since the season update. I verified integrity of the files on Steam and everything. I am not banned. I can't get past the Connect button. I got in once, but all of the buttons in lobby were greyed and I was kicked due to a connection error, but my internet is fine and my connectivity to the game server as well.

    I wonder if this is related to the bug that kicks people off Steam Deck, even though I am playing on PC seems they may have made some changes and introduced new bugs related to connectivity and kicking players.

    Edit: If I use a Hotspot and connect, I have no problems. This issue only happens with my main connection / ISP. I logged in with hotspot, then I logged out to Main Menu. Also, I went to my profile here on Answers HQ and Deleted all of my old IP addresses. I was finally able to log on once. But as I waited for my friend to log on, I timed out at the lobby and now I have the same problem all over again.

    This really needs to be fixed. In previous seasons, once the 'Retry' button timed out and turned into 'Continue' I used to be able to click and it would go through the login process properly. However, now, it hangs at 'Continue' and never actually retries the login. This is the new bug from this season preventing people from logging on after this 'profile is not permitted' bug occurs. Used to have an actual retry but now the system does not retry at all.

    Solved: I called my ISP and they opened the NAT on my modem. If the game is blocking due to this, it would be helpful if the error message actually said that instead of saying the profile is not permitted.

    Idk about that fix, it only happens on my PC account, if I enter from my PS4 account I dont get that error, so I dont think is my ISP.

    Game: Apex Legends
    When I launch Apex Legends I get this error message when I hit continue and connect to the servers "This profile is not permitted to play online" sometimes I don't get it and can play some games before it kicks me out and comes up with this message I have tried EA support team but they couldn't fix the issue and I tried several troubleshooting solutions but none worked. I did have this a year ago but it was off and on and I reinstalled Apex and am getting it nonstop and can barely play.

    Hope someone can help with my issue
