Touchpad long press opens keyboard in Apex Legends

After the recent update, when I long press the PS4 controller touchpad on PC, the in-game chat input briefly appears and then the Windows on-screen keyboard pops up.
This did not happen before the update, and it is very inconvenient during gameplay.
Please fix this issue or provide an option to disable the on-screen keyboard when using a controller.
