Unable to equip founder's badge

Back in 2019 I bought the founder's pack for Apex but I'm no longer able to equip the founder's badge. All the other items from the pack work (weapon skins, legend skins etc..) but the badge doesn't stay equipped - instead it gets replaced by the level badge after exiting the legend locker. No clue when the issue first started but it's been a little bit now.  In the attached image it shows that it's equipped, but not displayed on my banner somehow? I was told by EA support to try it through the EA app version of Apex instead of steam, still didn't work. Any help is appreciated.
