Hey did u try forcing it to launch in full screen from origin, if not here's how to :
1.open origin, go to game library
2.right click apex and click properties
3.go to advanced launch options and type
"-fullscreen" without quotes.

Hey, just tried this but to no avail.. Same thing, it tried to start in fullscreen, screen goes black for a couple seconds and its back to windowed.

WOW. Dude, this actually worked! My taskbar was on top and I moved it bottom and now it works
