Unmerge my child’s account

Yo same problem here, rn my dad, me, and my brother have all of our xbox's accounts on the same EA account. When CP came out all of our data was linked together as well which we didnt want. We also looked at our EA settings and could not find a unlink button next to our xbox accounts either. We recently asked EA to unlink both me and my brother's account from my dad's EA account but they said that we would lose all of our data from each account (The game in question is Apex Legends). So now the 3 of us cant even play Apex without all of our accounts linked, we did have the option to unlink the accounts but trust me as a season 1 player I don't want to lose all of my stuff. It sucks that this is happening to many people and we really cant do anything about it but wait for a fix or something. I have been waiting for CP for a while to switch from xbox to PC and tbh It would have been better if Apex didnt even release CP in the first place. 

Same here and all support has told me is "here's the article on what cross progression is" or "here's how to unlink" smh. no actual help. i made a new EA account already so they should be able to give me my items and currencies, level i dont care much about.

So if I were to unlink my Xbox account from my dad's EA account and put it on my new EA account, what would I exactly lose? Would it be all of my data just wiped or would some stuff like stay like cosmetics and levels. 

And If i do lose everything I don't understand why every other game with CP has no other problems with CP and only EA has the problems with people losing data when crossing over to another platform.

My wife and I have the same issue. And youre telling me that when she unlinked her account from the "merged" account, she loses EVERYTHING. INCLUDING all the items SHE paid for. So when I do this, then I except EA to hold their end of the deal and restore the accounts as they were before the merge. Too easy kids!

I love how the accepted solution that I did not accept doesn’t come close to addressing my issue. I know exactly where to find the connections page. I DO NOT HAVE AN UNLINK BUTTON NEXT TO XBOX OR PLAYSTATION ACCOUNTS SO I CANNOT UNLINK THEM. Now can my issue be addressed please? I’m not trying to be rude or anything I’m just tired of getting canned responses that I already said don’t apply to me.
