Voice Chat in game still not working (Xbox)

Hi,


When in game, the microphone icon next to my name appears as if I am in a party (or permanently on, pictured below) when I am not. I cannot hear team mates and they cannot hear me.


If we actually go to a party, the microphone works fine, and it works perfectly in every other game.

In the lobby, the microphone isn't recognised at all with an icon next to my name and doesn't work at all.

I have experienced this issue as far back as season 3. It seems to be fixed and then return randomly.

Hope that someone from EA can see this and address the issue,

    I fixed it:

    You have to clear your MAC address for anyone else encountering this issue.

    Settings>  Network> Network settings > Advanced > Clear MAC address.
    Restart your Xbox when prompted.

    since season 6 released, in game chat is not working. I tested other games and it is working fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still no use. Any ideas would be great.

    I am using my astro mix amp pro TR 2018 edition Gen 4. Up till today with no issues.

    Please address this bug.

    Yes, I'm back at this thread because voice chat is broken again...


    The fix I used above doesn't work either.

    How does this keep happening?

    Hi,

    I just wanted to point out that this is happening to me, using a steel series arctic headset on Xbox One. This started right after downloading the season 6 patch. I have cleared alternate Mac addresses, checked my nat settings, tried different controllers to plug the headset into. Tried everything I can think of. The headset works in other games and in Xbox party. The in game chat for apex is the only thing that doesn’t work

    This is happening to me as well. Insanely frustrating. Party chat works fine, but the game seems to think I have no mic for game chat. Makes it real hard to play ranked without a full group. I tried clearing MAC address as well.

    @IIIIJETHROIIII It is possible for a strict nat to cause chat interruptions when playing on Xbox. I made sure this wasn’t my issue before posting. The issue is clearly on the apex side of things.
