WASD stopped working (no keyboard problem)

Hi, in the middle of some games WASD stopped working. I have to press W for 2-5 times to get a reaction. This makes the game unplayable.

When I'm typing text into the messages board, it works without a problem. I also tried another keyboard but the problem still persists. After restarting Apex everything is fine. 

Do you have any ideas how to avoid this problem?

    Hey @n0meX_FFM,

    That definitely sounds like a pretty frustrating situation to pop up randomly in the middle of a game.

    Do you have any other peripherals plugged into your computer that you can try removing?

    If the two keyboards you tried are both from the same manufacturer it may be worth checking for any updates to the software like Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, or the equivalent for whichever keyboard(s) you're using.

    I've heard about this issue for keyboards that were running razer chroma related software, though that was a while back.

    Might be something to look out for too.

    Hello, 

    I also have the same problem. I even bought a new keyboard. Still having the same issues. It is frustrating, especially during mid and late game.

    I have this same problem. Running Apex Legends on Ubuntu, with no special keyboard software. WASD keys intermittently just stop responding to key presses or even whilst in the middle of a keypress! Some times I experience feeling stuck and not being able to move left or right as the key presses are not registering in-game only. Sometimes I am moving forward and the character will simply stop moving forward, whilst allowing me to move left and right only, like an invisible barrier in front, when it is open space and no obstacles.

    This is affecting a friend of mine too, who bought a new keyboard and is still having the problem, so it seems very much like an Apex Legend Key Press Registration Handling Bug to me.
