Why when I add someone on apex it says 403-HTTP SEARCH ERROR.

I’ve been trying to add my cousin on apex and every time I put his name in the search bar it says 403-HTTP SEARCH ERROR. Then I tried someone else’s name that is on my console and it didn’t work

Can we try out some troubleshooting to see if we can help stop this error?

When you've got a chance I'd recommend starting off with the basic connection troubleshooting first to see if that helps. If it keeps happening after that check out the platform-specific steps as well:

- PC

- Xbox

- PlayStation

@EA_Kent I just got this error im on xbox the person im looking for is xbox. Ive never had this problem before and my connection seems good

Just to confirm, have you double-checked to make sure that invites are allowed in your privacy settings? Also, do you know if the person you're trying to invite is on a child account?

@EA_Kent Making sure the game wasn’t on quick resume and restarting my Xbox series S worked for me too

So my friend is trying to add me on APEX. I have a Xbox but he has a ps4 and we are getting the 403 error. We have played together in the past but recently he hasn’t shown on our friends list. When I searched him via find friends it showed a check mark indicating we are already friends. We unfriended and re sent requests but neither receive them. How do we fix this?
