The uses of third party software and hardware comes with the risks of being banned.
To be safe it would be best to only use official controllers from the actual firms that produce them for their platforms. I.E. if you have a PlayStation or X-Box etc. then you should be using an actual PlayStation or X-Box controllers from those firms.
