Xbox to PS Apex Legends Cross Progression
I used to play Apex Legends on Xbox but now I just got a PS5 and so want to move on playing there.
Upon downloading Apex Legends for the first time on my ps5 I was feeling fairly optimistic about having my account on the Xbox platform transfer to the Playstation platform. When I first launched the game as usual I was asked to sign in to my EA account and after that I got the 'Cross-progression' enable prompt. After I enabled cross progression, I realised that the EA account 🏈 I had signed on to was not the same EA Account ⚽ I had my Xbox game account linked.
Now I have already unlinked my PSN id from this second EA Account as obviously there was no game account data to transfer from onto the Playstation platform. I unlinked knowing that unlinking can cause game progress loss , however this was not an issue for me as this 2nd EA account is discardable and not my main primary EA account where my Xbox gamertag i.d is linked so it doesn't matter to me if "progress' is lost on this EA account and its original playing platform.
My question would be now that I have unlinked my PSN i.d from this 2nd EA account, can I then go on to sign in on Apex Legends with the 1st main EA account (as that is the one with the xbox game account) with that particular PSN i.d and expect to see all of my Xbox game data/progress including level, heirlooms, skins & currency also transfer successfully onto the now Playstation platform?
Is it possible to do this with no risk of losing my in game purchases and basically account?

To confirm your fear of losing in-game purchases and accounts will happen to any progress, items, or purchase you had on the PSN before unlinking it from its original EA account.
However, if you wish to use it for Cross-Progression with your other EA account (that has Xbox connected). You can link them baring any wait time you may have (check out the help articles below).
