Unfortunately, they are going to double-down on their ridiculous Specialists. I personally don't mind if they kept the Specialists concept, but the character choices were so amateurish and pathetic they destroyed the idea of it instantly. If the Specialists actually matched the mood of the game as advertised, as well as had their own dedicated weapons, then the idea would have been tolerable. It is obvious these skilless Devs wanted to copy COD, they could have at least created specific Specialists for the faction a player was playing during a match. They should have had a USA faction of Specialists vs a Russian faction of Specialists. That way you don't have a game full of Angels running around killing each other. At least with the old Class system, you could clearly see who the enemy was based on their attire and language.
The real problem is; once you start to look at all the missing elements of past BF games, you can't avoid the fact that these new Devs for DICE are amateurs. They don't have the skill set or talent to turn this game around. I truly wish they could, but they don't and won't.
They knew the game's trailer and advertisement were not the so-called finished product, and they were good with it. Hell, the character used as the games advertisement model is a BATTLEFIELD character. Where is he? The recent weekly shotgun weapon's skin didn't even match the actual skin earned. They are NOT good Devs, if you can't even match a weapon's skin or create a scoreboard similar to every BF game; you need to be fired. Non-AAA game Devs can at least make a damn scoreboard and weapon's skins..... I no longer have faith in this game.
I really wish they would just re-master BF3 and 4, then let someone else create a new Battlefield game. Let these Devs go back to creating Candy Crush games, that's obviously their wheelhouse.
