They were already weak due to 30 people having recoilless in the match now this * TV missle spam makes it so the only way you stay alive is to hide and never engage a control pointhonestly * the damage should be reduced by 2/3 and give tanks some active protection. There's only one tank per side.Just remove all the vehicles from the game at this point except transports.

@SpudBug Yup completely agree this is the first BF title since BF1942 where I don't bother even trying to be a tanker as its almost instant death.Between the flying squirrels with their C4 everyman/endless rocketmen and the fact they are just paper tigers to begin with its just pointless. They have no meaningful impact in matches now, same with the AA armor.I'm not a pilot so I mainly just play infantry now, I don't think this game can ever be properly balanced with the specialist system.

@SpudBug who would've kinown giving 64-128 players the option to have explosives with any gun they want they will do that...colour me shuketh

@Ironhead841I agree about the specialists.A big part of the problem, is that the vehicles weapons are too strong against infantry.Instead of just reducing the number of vehicles, Dice should nerf the vehicles damage against infantry (remove 50 mm cannons and 'anti-personel-rockets'), which would make them less of 'farming machines', then they could increase their number again.The vehicles were too dominant and this would make too many players use counters against them. Reduce the dominance of vehicles (nerf the weapons) and less infantry uses rockets...

@cso7777 they could do that but then no one would play them....DICE couldn't even balance planes in BFV what makes anyone think they can balance vehicles v specialists v themselves...this studio as they are now can barely balance their own budet

Just remove the tanks from the game, honestly.

Absolutely agree. There are way too many missiles in this game. It's even worse for heli's. Either get rid of the lock on missile or get rid of the TV missile. The last thing battlefield 2042 needed was yet another missile.

@Daytonaflyer Helis can dodge and run and use flares. Tanks and wildcats are slow and easy targets for the tv missles. You can't dodge them at all. A player flew one up into the air and down on me like a javelin repeatedly while I was trying to provide support to a control point from a distance. Nothing I could do.

@cso7777 If a tank is approaching a control point or defending it its a big target that attracts several defenders/attackers to try to take it out. It should be stronger than infantry, and It should be a challenge to take it out.

In the old games you had to sacrifice a bit of infantry effectiveness to use anti-tank weaponry, now you don't at all. By default almost everyone picks the launcher.

Agreed. You have absolutely zero chance in a tank. By the time you even turn your turret to kill a Lis, the next Lis looking at you, and the third Lis kills you. Its just constant rocket spam and a useless pick to choose a tank. Condors/hinds are the only vehicles in the game now...really poorly balanced.

MBT has been a joke since launch and legitimately down bad right now. The mobile AA is better at killing other tanks than the MBT is lol. Put the 50mm on it with anti-vehicle missiles and you will absolutely destroy any tank you come across.
