Can't Enable Secure Boot Because Of Old GPU (or CPU) / Can't Disable CSM Support

The last battlefield 2042 update 8.8.0 requires SecureBoot but in my case i cant activate it because i have RX580
Most older GPUs need CSM support and in the bios i need to disable CSM to access SecureBoot settings
The SecureBoot settings disappear if i enable CSM.

I tired forcing CSM disabled and then went and to change SecureBoot on the results was black screen the RX580 didn't  load anything.

On the other side if i disable CSM and turn on the pc, CSM enables its self so it can detect the RX580.

( i get black screen when SecureBoot is on so it doesn't let CSM ON and i get stuck with black screen - resting bios was the only solution )

Battlefield should consider people with old GPUs or people who dont know any bios settings.

Some people fried their computers because they were to unfamiliar with bios settings.

CM edit: title edit for clarity.

I have no trouble and also have the  i7-4790k CPU i know it will not run wins 11 in the future but i also its running loads of triple A titles still without any problems.

specs if it helps "she is an old pc" no plans to replace it.

    •  i7-4790k CPU
    • 32 gb ram Corsair
    • gigabyte ga z97x gaming 7- MB socket 1150
    • Corsair water cooler, cpu, gpu, MB.
    • 1080Ti Strix "old but i still like it" years old.

    Never over clocked it.

How old is your Motherboard? Mine is from 2020 and TPM + Secure Boot is available.

Also you don't need to use Rufus and reinstall your windows to modify system requirements for win 11. Simply use Microsoft Official Bypass.
I have no idea if it works with EA's Secure Boot detection tho.

You are not the only one. Cannot believe this is happening. Spent an hour yesterday to get to the settings in my bios. Could not find it and will probably spend more time tonight. REALLY annoying

Hi - I've been playing most of the BF series for years on a now very old rig  - 6 years plus - I'm running an i7-4790k CPU gigabyte MB which I believe after a lot of googling doesn't have a TPM module / chipset - therefore Im not eligable for win11 but more importantly I can no longer play BF2042 as of this week afer many years service - my only go to game. I've looked through the you tube vids about changing the bios settings but don't have the options to enable secure boot due to the TPM issue - it's greyed out and the only workaround is to use RUFUS apparently which ignores the system requirements for win 11 and may alow the game to play for awhile longer. Not being that computer savy does anyone know if with my current rig if there is a workaround or has my gaming rig just aged out and is now effectively useless for me to play the game please? EA  - why no workaround or plan for aged motherboards?
