Gotta say I think this is an asinine decision to change a requirement like this on a 3.5 year old game that never really had much of an issue with cheaters in the first place... In 650 hours I think I've seen one, maybe two cheaters. I don't really see this change making much impact on the cheaters anyways and is instead preventing legitimate players from playing. Secure boot is off on my machine, don't know why, don't much care, I vaguely remember needing to turn it off for something but since this is my work machine I absolutely cannot risk any down time if turning it on goes wrong. Enabling secure boot is not a risk free change, people can and do brick their systems fiddling with it. Asking customers to mess with their machines on that level to maybe tackle some of the what, 0.05% of people who hack is utterly daft.
So I guess I'm prematurely done with 2042 and if the new BF has the same requirement I'm likely not going to bother buying that either. I'm not messing with secure boot until I have an actual good reason to risk turning it on, like if my work software requires it to be on, which it doesn't, and probably never will. Stellar work as always EA 🤷♂️

Only discontinued or not official drivers doesn't support Secure Boot.. Secure Boot itself is only good not a bad thing.
If you do want to continue playing then send me your motherboard manufacturers name and name of your board. I will make you detailed guide how to enable it safely.
