Stuttery for 2-3 seconds, when it happen my cursor's going into my other monitor

Hey, since yesterday, october 30th, every 2-3 minutes my game start to become very stuttery and laggy that I cant even move my aim for 2 to 3 seconds, if it happen when i was flicking my aim for exemple, i will see my cursor going on my 2nd or 3rd monitor out of no where.

Im in fullscreen mode, I tried switching to broderless, repair the game, delete the game and reinstall it, remove every keybind from the controller settings, disable GPU accelerated in windows, Turned off every single overlay on my pc,  turned off the raw mouse input, unplug my 2nd and 3rd monitor, deleted temporary files, nothing is open in the background. Nothing seems to work, but it was fine earlier in the day. im out of idea rn.

Btw, im on a fresh windows install since last week cause of the freezing issue in battlefield and i tought that was my pc going crazy.

Every temps are fine, 65C cpu and 70C gpu, on load.

10700k, 32gb ram 3200mhz, RTX3080.

  • I'm having a similar issue. From time to time my cursor is flickering and I can't aim. It started at the same time as well (October 30th).

  • having the same issue. just updated and ran into an issue installing the anti cheat.. had to pause AV. after that, loaded into a game and after a minute had the issue. thought my mouse batteries were dying.  Checked mouse software and no issues.  also noticed that the cursor icon is being overridden by the windows cursor icon with the bf2042 one behind it.

  • I'm having the same problem it seems.

The game updated today and after that I'm having awful slow downs!

The game frame rate goes from 90fps to 30fps or below that. I think the fps meter cannot sample fast enough.

I never had the problem before. It's completely impossible to play this game now! A totally game breaking bug.
