Soldiers for the last century as the very least have been finding a way to use the "F" word in almost every sentence, even when not under fire. So not only is this a play to realism, but in all honesty how are you ok with shooting people in the face over and over again in the space of minutes, but hearing profanity is triggering? How is profanity more indicative of an adult "rating" than actually killing soldiers in close quarter combat? Let these poor soldiers, who you have so much fun sending to their deaths, at least cuss when they get their insides chewed up by hot metal.
I get it for sure. I’m just saying for those that may wish to mute those words, give them the option. For those that don’t want to hear it, leave it out. The game itself has muted violence because the audience can only stand so much - do we see limbs blown off or brains squished out? Are entrails scattered everywhere? No, because that goes too far. All I’m saying is that I’m sure millions of players would probably make use of the profanity filter if it was available.
