First solution didn't work.
For a second one, I'm kinda of stuck at step 4:
A warning message should appear prompting you to repair the game: Close the game and click on Repair in the error message.
I'm not able to launch the game because of the repair warning message. I also don't see a "repair" button anywhere in the message. The only option I got is "ok".
Did I miss something?
Do you have the steam version? I own the EA version, so there possibly is a chance that the repair function doesn't work the same way as on the EA app.
I also use Steam and have the same problem. Replacing files with a name change does not work.
Copying files without changing their names doesnt work due to the same problem, and there is no option to run a repair as mentioned by my colleague above.
