Add Proximity Chat

Question

Talking to your squad is fine, but having proximity chat for the theme of the game along with the cohesiveness of teamwork utility like this eg in this particular scenario where “shouting out to someone nearby” for a revive compared to hoping that they see the indicator is by far better and makes more sense. You won’t be in constant communications with any said squad at all times until entering the proximity, (optional but I’d love it) same would apply for the enemies they should come up into the chat as they get nearby but their names should come up on screen in Red like how COD beautifully displayed as an example back in Modern Warfare.

Tired of waving my hand calling for help or waiting for my in game player to shout medic to a nearby Blue friendly only to be literally walked over and ignored in said instance.

proximity chat sounds cool but players are so packed in battlefield 6 a lot of voices will be too much, constant chatter, whining, shouting will make you mute all voices. just remember that annoying guy in the squad who you mute every time. proximity chat is good but for games like arc raiders where players are scattered in waste areas and not easy to come across.&nbsp;

Communication

Agreed. There is no reason I need to type fast (Xbox player here) so that I can communicate to a tank driver while being their gunner. I honestly can’t believe this is even an issue. We absolutely need proximity chat.&nbsp;
