Aim assist is too strong

The aim assist in this game is far too strong on console, I can aim down sights and scan an area and feel where enemies are just by the aim assist slow down.

Enemies can be behind hills, behind cover, in buildings I don't even need to be able to see them I can feel exactly where enemies are just using the aim assist.

I can't remember playing any game since GTA 5 what had such lock on like this.

Tone it down EA.... a LOT.

That's my point, it's too strong to the point I can't see an enemy but I can feel his presence because of the aim assist slow down. Also when sniping if a few people run around in my cross hairs they get dragged all over.  I agree it can hinder the aiming.

Your village is looking for you. I play on ps5, and Xbox so hardly using an aimbot. Although it feels like I am.

  • Sounds like bs to me. If your reticle starts getting pulled to the guy before you ever see him that's some bs.

  • I experience what you describe, but I don't agree that it makes it easy to kill people. In fact, most people who have mentioned aim assist slow down, myself included, say that it actually makes it harder to aim since you're fighting against the slow down. So there really is no true aim assist like COD, and I think it's important that people understand that. It's a slow down, but it feels more like something is slowly pulling my reticle, which messes up my aim. I'll be trying to kill the guy peeking, and my reticle starts pulling to side, trying to "assist" my aim to the guy behind cover.

  • Havent notice the aim assist  being to strong. maybe you mean aimbot being to strong?

  • I was always wondering why I got pre-fired at from behind cover in the BR mode... Also if you could, I also address issues with the entire class mission system and possible solutions, it'd mean the world if you check it out!

  • Well obviously I can't hit you behind cover, but I can certainly tell you're hiding there without seeing you, and wait for u to show yourself.

Is that why I just get nailed randomly in smoke or behind cover?

Aim assist should be line-of-sight only. Like the diamonds. No diamond in smoke or behind cover, no aim assist.
