An idea to improve challenges even further

First of all, the reroll thinkg is a neat addition. I like it. Thanks for implementing that.

Now, I just had an idea floating around. To make things even better.

Can you implement the possibility to uninstall Redsec entirely ? The same way we can uninstall the campaign. And if Redsec is uninstalled, the game would never roll a single redsec challenge.

That way, people (like me) who don't want to play redsec can ignore the very existence of it, we can use rerolls on something else than just getting rid of BR challenges, and we can reduce the disk space. It would be fair too. Because people who took Redsec for free are never bothered with BF6 challenges, nor pestered to buy it and play modes they aren't interested in.

Additionally, I even thought of you, dear Battlefield studio developpers ! How generous of me, I know. It will allow you to have concrete stats on what percentage of people who paid for the game are actually interested in Redsec !

I gave it some thought, and I can't find any downside to this system. Please. Let me know !

  • I don't have Redsec installed, and if you do I'm almost certain you can uninstall it like you can the campaign.

Interesting. And while you have it uninstalled, do you still get Redsec-related weekly challenges ?

Yes, you get. Almost half of weekly are some redsec challange. And you can't even reroll the bonus one. Both weeks it is a f*** br challange.😠

I agree, we need some option to opt out of these challanges. I dont like br games and don't want to play it. I didn't install redsec either.

If you didn't uninstall Redsec it's installed with your game, in Steam to uninstall you need to uncheck the Redsec's in DLC, restart Steam and Steam will automatically remove them.

The idea to have to uninstall Redsec to not have RS challenges in Bf6, i understand where you're coming from but here's the thing, Redsec and Bf6 need to be individual games no matter what, i paid a 100 bucks to play Bf6, i am in no way interested in playing a wannabe Warzone clone and i certainly do not accept they force me to play a game i do not choose to play with implementing RS challenges in Bf6.

I did not ask for Redsec,  Bf6 challenges should have nothing to do with a different game.

I'm tired of these manipulative corporations that constantly try to make us play stuff we don't want out of mere greed, they ruin everything. Make the game, sell the game, make season passes for the actual game and for the rest stay out of our fkn lives, don't interfere on how or what we choose to play.

The current system favors BR players, who didn't pay the game. Because without paying a dime they get a system where they are never bothered to play modes they aren't interested in. And they get 3 rerolls a week to customize their experience in game.

Battlefield fans, who have paid the game, sometimes even the phantom edition, get pestered each week with half of their challenges being tied to a mode they are obviously not interested in. They need to pay an additional 25 euros per season to get rid of these challenges. Because of course, if you don't pay, you get 3 rerolls, but then you will get 5 challenges, including the bonus one (the most rewarding OF COURSE) tied to the BR.

This week I got a challenge for Domination. I would have gladly rerolled it... If only I didn't have to sink in all my rerolls into the BR challenges. But I'll play Domination or even Rush (in the current messy state it is, plus I really don't like this mode) any day over BR and Gauntlet
