If bot backfill is enabled, matches require 8 players to start, and there will be up to 6 bots on each team.
If bot backfill is disabled, matches will still require 20 players to start game.
If Dice drop it down to 2 users instead of 8 users I think that would better. Why? You would get more users to join the server. I don't think user's are wanting to be sitting on their A,, waiting for 8 people to join a game just start a game. IMHO it is not worth wasting your time on. I sure in the hell would not to sit on my A.. Waiting for 8 players to join the game. Like I said if Dice brought it down to 2 user's to start the game I really think that would benefit everyone!
I also think it would be better to have 12 bots on each game instead of 6 bots.
