BF6 - Clan System
The game needs a clan system which can hold up to 64 players and has various roles built in such as the owner, those who have permissions to send invites, and regular members.
This will help build communities by allowing players to meet each other and play together.
Additional points:
- A "clan queue" where up to 32 players from a clan can queue together and pre-form squads before entering a game would be phenomenal for larger groups that want to play together.
- A clan server, or custom option in portal, where clans can host games and battle against each other. Ideally each clan leader/officer chooses 1 map, then the tie breaker is based off votes from all members of both clans. Or some better way to select tie breaks.
- An invite system for clans to challenge each other where times and dates can be preset up to 7-14 days in advance.
- A notification system to go out to emails of clan members, if they so choose to subscribe, to be made aware of upcoming clan battles or simple reminders. Life is busy.
- A ranking system for clans that helps gauge potential opponents. Could be based off a ranked clan battles mode when lobbies are set up. The clans could then have a win rate percentage per game mode i.e., conquest, domination, etc. Or keep it simple and only conquest and breakthrough can be ranked game modes, maybe others too.
- Clan tournaments where unique items can be earned and specific to the podium position a clan achieves e.g. the same charm, but plain for just participating, gold for top 3, and platinum for first place. Something along those lines.
- A clan chat page, or pages, for messages to be posted and pinned, or open discussions, LFG within the clan, etc.
- Individual challenges speicifc to clans to earn skins and charms to promote participating with other members. Could be "get 1000 kills while partied with a clan member" or "participate in 10 ranked clan battles," etc. The challenges should require continued commitment and be non-resetting if players choose to move between clan.
- Communal challenges specific to clans where they can only be earned by staying with a clan and reset when leaving a clan, could be something like "play 1 hour with clan members" and you get an emblem, or "revive 100 clan members" and you get a dog tag, but these will reset if you leave a clan before earning the reward.
