BF6 Matchmaking is draining my sanity (King of the Hill and Domination)

I started playing the game since it launched. Now my play style is that I am focusing on unlocking unit skins while also leveling up weapons. I did see many others across other forums and discussions talking about how ridiculous some of these challenges are. But now after the new REDSEC update, I'm finding it near impossible to complete even the early stages of some of these challenges. 

Namely, I can't even join a King Of The Hill nor Domination match to finish their respective challenges, whether with crossplay on or off (I like to keep it off as I want a more casual feel. Life is already cooking me lol). It's like nobody is playing any of these modes, and the same also applies to Rush, though there are better chances of people joining Rush than the other two modes I mentioned earlier. 

Please enlighten me if any what I say is narrow-minded, but why can't BF6 just fill the entire lobby with bots? Like, at the moment in KOTH, it requires 16 players to kick off a match. If, say 2 players, join and no on else joins, the game will start filling the lobby with bots but up to a certain number, like it still requires more human players to be in. 

This is really killing the experience and is hampering the progress of others who recently started playing too. I mean, fill the entire lobby with bots, and if other players join, then they can take the spot of the bots. 

Yes I know that some would say "Yeah if that's the case, then you will utterly steamroll the entire match", but honestly the bots do put on a level of challenge on their own. At least try to allow the players to finish their grinds. The challenges are already ridiculous on their own. Please don't make it worse, DICE/EA.
