Game might as well be called COD-Field 6. Sliding, bunny hopping, hard point, domination & 3 lane map designs on all close quarter modes REEKS OF COD! why make a game to copy most things in another game? This is what happens when you employ former cod devs to make a franchise game they themselves never played when it was at its peak. We are being told what “battlefield” should feel like by people who didn’t play battlefield.

As an addition to this. I played 30 hours beta and tried all fully automatic weapons to 20In general the shooting feels good. Maps look fine, and all the bugs and issues are relatively minor. ButThe "time to kill" is insane with some weapons in this version. I fully understand that if im close quarters and a shotgun or an SMG runs into me, that i, with an LMG, will pretty much die every time, and very fast at that. But people running around with the SGX or PW7A2 are killing me in less than half a second from well over 80 meters away. There needs to be a drop off damage cap on SMGs, like there are with shotguns. lazer beam weapons. The NVO-228E and generally the whole m4-series (both AR and Carbine), have no recoil, and a straight spray patteren. There needs to be some variance, so the weapon fits its range. The headshot damageOn several weapons needs to be turned way up. It makes no sense a DMR only does 80-50 headshot damage.

There are TONS of moronic design decisions in this game. It amazes me this is the company that made the previous battlefields. I would totally believe they made 2042. But anything before that?

ll-Mayhem-ll completely agree, and you have these old heads in the discussions on discord saying how the game has always been told it’s a “COD copy” since BF3, I just don’t believe that. Back when I played BF4 on release I could easily differentiate between COD and BF. Now it’s getting. Harder and harder to see or feel the difference.shi* even BF2042 had a massive difference they at least stuck to their roots with the many vehicles and maps being large. Albeit a overdoing of what was BF but still a noticeable difference.

HOT TAKE ~ Can we please stop alienating CoD Players. From all shooters out there, Battlefield has always been closer to Old CoD (Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 2) than any other game. Battlefield has always had call of duty like infantry game play but with Class Strategy/Tactics, vehicle combat, and Large Scale Battles. Please lets stop pretending that battlefield is a Milsim game that has Realism at the Forefront. I mean we literally revive shot up players by slapping defibrillator on them. A game where every player has 30 parachutes that appear from no where. On a scale of Milsim to Casual shooter it goes- Arma - Squad - Rising storm Vietnam - Battlefield - Old CoD - New CoDAll of this Superiority complex Elitist talk is awful for a community. We should be accepting of New players and Old time Fans.What I can agree on Is the new take on map Sizes. these maps are definitely too small and don't feel like the glory days of BF3 and BF4. I think this is what's encouraging the skillful sweaty gameplay that most people are angry about. These maps need to open up a bit. far to many tight corridors/lanes.Battlefield 2042 maps Were Far too large and barren, and people hated it. But EA DICE went too far in the other direction. Now in BF6 Maps Are too small and Dense. Please EA Dice just Bring back BF3/BF4 style maps. Also I don't know if its just me but I miss Levolution so very much.

Agreed, but not going to happen at this point. Maybe for new soldier / weapon models with that attachment they can change hand placement, but at this point it is very unlikely to be changed.
I remember in the BF1 Alpha feedback pointing out rendering errors in the 1911 model around the firing pin retainer... the EA DICE attention to detail is limited and after a certain point in development, artistic assets are just baked-in and not changed... abandoned maybe, but not changed.

I'll agree with slide. It should be shortened by like 10-15%, and the same with the speed.
Personally, I like the ttk. Felt longer today, though. Maybe my shots weren't registered. I heard that's a thing...

My TTK was all over the place today, so I think it's just network issues. On good matches I was getting lasered and lasering.
