Feature Proposal: Dynamic Moving Carrier System for Battlefield 6
Introduction:
I’d like to propose a feature that adds naval flavor to Battlefield 6 without turning it into a full naval warfare simulator. The concept is a slow-moving aircraft carrier that acts as a mobile team base, creating new strategic paths and dynamic objectives across the map.
Key Features:
- Player-Controlled AA Batteries – Defend friendly aircraft landing and taking off. Skill-based targeting with overheat/rotation limits to maintain balance.
- Aircraft Landing Deck for Resupply/Repairs – Jets and helicopters can land to repair damage or reload ammo. Provides tactical incentives to protect the carrier.
- Slow-Moving Carrier Across the Map – Moves along a predictable route during the match. Opens new pathways for both friendly and enemy forces. Creates dynamic map flow and shifts in air and ground strategy.
- Boarding & Sabotage Mechanics – Enemy squads can board the carrier via small boats or helicopters. Plant explosives or disable systems to slow movement and disrupt operations. Introduces high-risk, high-reward objectives for infantry.
Why This Improves Gameplay:
Maintains infantry relevance while adding naval dynamics. Enhances combined arms gameplay (air, land, and naval support). Introduces dynamic objectives and rotating map pressure without overwhelming players. Feels strategic and immersive without requiring full naval maps or capital-ship combat.
Summary:
This system would add strategic depth, create dynamic battlefield scenarios, and provide new ways to engage with vehicles and aircraft, all while keeping the core combined arms experience of Battlefield intact.
