An option to separate controllers and KB/M is top priority to me.
It's impossible to balance these two peripherals in PvP games. Either controllers have too little assistance and are completely outclassed by keyboards/mices, or they have too much, as in the case of BF6, putting keyboards/mices at a disadvantage.
This game having smaller maps, faster projectiles, low recoil and spread, you just can't escape a controller locking you in. 80% of my deaths are from controller players spamming with LMG and it's just tiresome.
I don't want to be a sweaty every games. It wasn't that way in previous titles, and it shouldn't be now.
KAlNEY I completely agree with you.
I don’t think crossplay is a bad feature in itself — on paper, it’s great. It brings more players together and allows friends on different platforms to play together. But in practice, it definitely creates real balance issues.
Mixing controller and KB/M players in PvP is extremely hard to balance. Either controller aim assist is too weak and gets outclassed, or it’s too strong — like it feels right now in BF6 — and KB/M players are at a disadvantage. With the current gameplay (smaller maps, faster projectiles, low recoil), it just amplifies the issue.
I think crossplay should always be a choice, not something forced. Every platform should have the option to enable or disable it.
For casual players, it might not change much. But for more competitive players, it makes a huge difference — for both PC and console players.
Ideally, there should even be an option to separate lobbies by input (controller vs KB/M). That would solve a lot of these balancing frustrations without removing crossplay entirely.
