Feedback on Redsec and Gauntlet Mode
I've waited three years to see a battle royale game made by DICE, aka Battlefield.
I had very high expectations, but they weren't fully met. In fact, I'm more disappointed than happy. I wish it was a mode that's no longer part of Battlefield.
First of all, Battle Royale and the so-called Gauntlet feel different from multiplayer. The player scale seems like 2042 with 100+ players.
In reality, it feels like I'm playing at 42 with bloom, recoil, and armor. Everything has gotten worse and slowed down.
Using armor makes no sense, given how slowly it's added and how quickly the game requires you to respond to the enemy.
It's hard to tell when an enemy is unarmored and when they are.
It's very confusing. You can't even figure out the TTK of some weapons or the magazines of some weapons. Sometimes you gain an advantage over the enemy, but the game has decided that you have to die. Here, it seems like DICE, in modes with more than 100 players, or 100, doesn't know how to make the character so big that it looks like he's shooting tiny ants.
Thanks for your thoughts, but I don't want to play 2042 with armor and bloom AGAIN. If it weren't for the cheaters and everything else Activision does wrong, I'd go right back to Warzone to get a Battle Royale.
Lucky you, Activision is incompetent.
Also, as in any FPS, there's no shortage of cheaters here, even if you're discovered and already seen, you can't even pull the trigger.
So BR for me is NO!
What does YES mean?
Yes, it's artistic, the map is beautiful, and it allows you to have fun and immerse yourself. The Gauntlet mode is well done, but again, it still feels like 2042, and I'd rather not play it again.
I don't understand why a Battlefield owner would play Battle Royale or Gauntlet Challenge if they don't even like those modes.
I'm a Battlefield player who, between Battlefield and COD, has ALWAYS chosen Battlefield for almost twenty years.
So, as much as streamers may advertise or pretend to love this "SO BR" not to mention HORRIBLE, I have to say that, in my opinion, this REDSEC is a FAILURE. So take the people who made the decisions or created or tested this BR and send them to work for horse racing agencies and I won't say anything else...
BECAUSE THEY MADE YOU MISS ANOTHER CHANCE to go WIND!
I've logged at least 4,000 hours on Warzone and I enjoy it more.
Battlefield, on the other hand, is another story.
