General Progression Feedback

I'm sure I'm beating the dead horse here; I don't have the most time to play games, but I do enjoy the gameplay in BF6. Every match I play however, playing for ~30 minutes in a match and maybe leveling a not fully leveled weapon once (LMR-27 atm, went from 33 to 34 with a full match) with around 40 objective kills just makes me log off each time I see it.

The match is fun, gameplay and little rivalries in the match, but as soon as I see that my 30-40 minutes and decent objective kills might not even level my weapon once which isn't even a good weapon, it just feels awful.

Aside from this the game is fun. Wish the skins were more like MW 2019 skins but that's not too important at least. Just the progression MAAAN feels bad for a casual haha.

RV64I Valid. As the days go on, some of us have less time to play, so when we do, we want to feel like we accomplished something, not just grind it for an hour or two and then log off.

So, what would you change progression-wise? Other than something taking forever, what a better progression feel for you look like at the end of the work day when you just want to jump in and play?

I feel like the xp is fine personally.  I get a level up and a half now with most full matches on the weapon I use.

I'll still say that the attachments level requirements should have been lowered and the cosmetic being high was fine, but instead they made cosmetic easier and left attachments.  Kind of backward thinking on that.

Actually, I will say that there might be an issue with sniper and DMR speed simply because recon doesn't get a lot of additional points or XP from other actions that would also apply to the weapon.  I think in previous titles you got more points/xp for longer range shots, maybe BF6 needs that as well.

Though if your complaint is that you play one match and your weapon doesn't go from 0 to 42,069 in that one match...

    I completely agree with you.

I came back to the game last weekend to try out the new patch after not playing since the launch of season 2. I read weapon XP has received further tuning and other XP gains now count towards the used weapon.

I'm sad to say the XP rate is still far to slow. I am not the best player, I average around 25-30 kills per game of breakthrough and I have only a few hours per week to play. At this rate it will take me months to unlock attachments for a variety of good weapons.

I would love to try new guns and builds but the grind completely puts me off and doesn’t make me want to play as it is not rewarding.

The only time the weapon XP has felt right has been on double XP weekends.
