Glint is too low for these bright big maps

The nerf of the sniper glint is too much (glint is too low).

On open bright big maps, snipers have too much of an upper hand, as others cannot see them from a distance. 

PC snipers (as things stand) not only have an easier time sniping...now (most times than not), they are invisible in such bright large maps.

Please rebalance/buff the glint intensity to make things more balanced.

  • Agree, i barely see the snipers, glint was heavily nerfed, needs a little bit more white in it

  • The glint is fine, I see them right away and take appropriate measures. Not only it is visible enough, but it has a very wide cone it is visible at.

    btw if they do not have a roof above them, you can use the laser designator at them and have someone javelin at them.

  • The more I think about it, this is more about the ambient brightness (especially when indoors and looking outdoors) than the glints themselves.

    U mean that if they are looking from within indoors outwards we will see them better?

    Anyways, for me...I just don't see them most of the time.

    Yesterday, a couple of very irritating times I was shot in the head and could not see anything both times.

    The kill cam/snapshot showed them far off in the map looking at where I and other were running and that sniper kept killing multiple squad mates (obviously they too didn't see him. Because if they did they would not run there or at least someone would shoot at the sniper).

    This was on mirak valley and Manhattan bridge (first section). Both cases sniper was on the defending side

  • Glint is fine, the uav coating helps with reducing glint but that brightness you get when you are in a building looking outside is a nightmare, I can't see anything regardless of which class I play with. Its fine initially as your vision adjusts to the change but it doesn't go away at all; Maps are smaller, sniper glint, beacon has been moved to assault, recon doesn't have smokes, sniping from building its a nightmare, how much more do they need to nerf recon before they are satisfied. I don't mind the visual effect but it should only happen momentarily and not for as long as you are inside a building.

    Ps bullet acceleration for snipers was slow down as well but i personally like the change it does add more skill to sniping as you need to time your shots

  • recon is almost useless. BF6 is set up to just camp... they took away the Deploy Beacon, C4 needs 4 pieces to destroy a tank, but without a dron... it's not what it used to be.. no infiltration to the back or anything like that....sad for me

  • They need to tone down the sun brightness, it is way wayy to bright to the point it hurts the eyes, can't see anything.

  • There shouldnt be any glint anyways.

     Like there isnt rampant 3d spotting to find them as it is.
