I'm still missing sniper shots left and right. Can be stationary, prone, holding my breath, with rangefinder...aimed at the head...2,3 even 4 shots all miss..guys can turn around and snipe me with an SMG...shooting is still off, that or they just really need to fix their code. Still think the ttd is way too fast for BF either way. (I play on PC with a controller -havnet used a M&K since my CS days, and just a pain to go back and relearn it)

It was. The release patch notes said that the aim assist in beta was too strong and they nerfed it. Some controller players said it was still too strong. Now that they have un-nerfed it, it is obviously even stronger.

The launch aim assist was stronger than the Open Beta version and the "new" aim assist (from the November 18, 2025 update 1.1.2.0, "California Resistance") has been fully reverted to match the Beta's tuning... From the official EA/Battlefield blog post (primary source): "Aim Assist: fully reset to Open Beta tuning, with related options reset to default to ensure consistency."
The developer stated, in interview, that they nerfed aim assist in the release because the data showed that controllers were too dominant at certain ranges in the beta. Therefore, the beta had stronger aim assist. Therefore, reverting to beta's aim assist is making it stronger again.

Yes, and, per employees, the beta's aim assist was too strong and they had to nerf it in the release. Therefore, if they went back to beta's aim assist, it is now stronger.

PC players using a controller can. I think aim assist is different for PC and console. Ask console players, the overwhelming response is that it's barely noticeable or it's so bad they turned it off. Every PC player I've seen talk about plugging in a controller says they get crazy snap-to-target aim assist. So, either aim assist is so broken that it works for some console players but not all, or it works differently across PC and console.
If you're getting beamed by console players, they're most likely using a cronus. I turned cross-play off (I know you guys can't which sucks) and immediately the gunfights felt better. But there's still cheaters using cronus. Every few matches there's some guy with 100+ kills, who every time you face him, doesn't miss a shot from any distance before you can even ads.
Why cant they make the console people have the same spread and recoil as PC players?
