Here is how to balance Controller Vs MnK

COD has insane aim assist of 0.6. BF needs to remove aim snapping and make Aim assist half of CODs - like 0.3 or even 0.25.

On top of this, there is still a centre deadzone in-game even when set to zero. Remove this limitation for pure no dead zone. This makes it feel much better for alot of people. Especially since everyone is getting on Hall Effects and TMRs now.

On top of that, give controllers the ability to use custom response curves and adjustable  Extra yaw/pitch speeds (outter deadzone turning speeds) along with delays for that like in Marvel Rivals, Siege.

The game needs crossplay to be able to sustain fast Q times especially for BR 100 player matches

  • Console only options. No one wants to play console vs PC. This should be the default. No one is buying this game for BR. Personally I don’t even want BR and would much rather have a large scale persistent warzone because BR isn’t Battlefield.

If I wanted to play BR, I would hop on COD.

Could not disagree more. One of the main reasons why there is soo much hype around this game is that it has a rumored BR mode, which has now been confirmed. Battlefield 6 universe and gameplay fits perfectly for a Battle Royale. Plenty of people will buy this game exclusively because it will have a BR mode.

Default should always be cross play on. It is more healthy for the game in the long run to have more people being able to play together.

As OP says, we need a balance between the inputs. So we do need some aim assist for controller, but It should not heavily favor controller players as in CoD. No snapping or rotational assist, while keeping the aim assist rather low. The recoil for the weapons needs to be the same for both inputs as well. During the beta the recoil was noticeably less while playing with controller.

More importantly, no SBMM or engagement based match making!

Wake up its 2025 and BR is here to stay and cross play is recommended for 100 player lobbies to function properly.

This ain't 5v5 game modes where you dont need crossplay to keep matchmaking going.

Crossplay off is what all console already have picked.  So who cares. Console don’t want wall hacks aim bots pc cheating on there games.  Pc sucks online

  • Which units are you using here? I'm happy for dice to completely get rid of snap aim assist and make slowdown fair and balanced

Can't help but feel the thread is getting a bit off topic here folks. OP created a thread to share feedback on how to tweak Aim assist in game not to discuss the merits of a Battle Royale mode. Lets bring it back on topic please, if you want to discuss something else you're welcome to make a thread for it.

  • I tested both inputs, and controller might be overall favored. I think the aim assist felt pretty balanced during the open beta (maybe it should be lowered a tiny bit), however the recoil difference between the inputs might be a problem. I feel the recoil was fine for mnk, but it should be the same recoil for controller.

This will be even more noticeable and important in the BR mode where you more often fight with weapons without the preferred attachments to lower the recoil.

Disagree with MnK being the favored. Imo controller was way weaker due to the inherently bad (old) settings DICE has especially on PC.

I would agree though that removing the recoil disparity would be a good change. There's no need to have easier recoils on controller.

The snap aim assist NOT the rotational should be removed imo. Controller needs some rotational due to it being inherently the lesser input for aiming. Even just a slow down is not going to give controller sticks a fair chance at cross play with PC mnk.

Problem is, games like COD have over tuned it rotational AA. It needs to be dialed down to at least half then were talking.
