It felt like playing in the old days. BF 6 Beta
I am a first hour Bf veteran. I played around 20k + hours with my friends and several [clans].
This open beta gave me/us some insights if we want to play this game in the future like we did with BC II, BF 3&4 BF 1 & V. Yes we do. But........
The maps. Siege of Cairo object C, Iberian offensive object C. That needs some changes. More cover for people who are taking the flag. A little more distance betwwee the street and the buildings. Create a pavement.
Liberation Peak. Hello devs look at the stats which side wins most. The hill side looses the most. Its not balanced. the high area v/s low is wrong. Hight in the middle (without campers opportunity). Move the mountain to object C or make the map wider divide A, B, D much more. Its campers paradise they do not come of the mountain.
The game play felt good the 2nd weekend. Or i picked the pace up or its slowed down but the pace is good. Hardcore we prefer hardcore. Not just portals with filters.
[CLAN] TAGS. its a team effort and we are a team with the same name. But we cannot express ourselfs anymore. WE need our [CLAN] TAGS back. (look at BF 1)
Throwing explosives. They get stuck in the bushes, hang on bumpers of cars, stick to trees, explode in your face because it gets stuck. To much.
Safe spawn. Nope not in this game yes in BF V and 1 it was. So create safe spawns. Or let people decide if the want to spawn in an dangered area. Its a choice now you have no option.
How did it feel? Well the short version. I tried to play the beata of 2042. Nope 15 minutes and delted the crap. Then took a holliday for a week like i always do when Battlefield releases and was back in the office within two days. 72 hours playing of 2042 and i deleted it forever. What a piece of crap. My friends left everything we builded for years dissapeared because of the lack of a good shooter or Battlefield.
And then this beta came. I am a believer again. It felt good. I thought we would not be grat in this game like we were years ago. The fear was that everything was lost forever. And then my friends apeared back this weekend and the weekend before. And our skills. I truly thought when i looked back and we played every day against eachother the top 100 players of the world back at Bf 1. That this wpuld not be possible again. Bf V it was not wat we expected so people left. But this is an opportunity for EA, DICE Battlefield Labs to create greatness again. We will be there. We come locked and loaded after a weekend of dominating the rankings again. Hopefully for years to come. Which means regulary new maps and updates of maps.
New content. Nice content we want. Things we need this time. So we can build trust again. I have hope and i thought all was lost. I have hope.
