I have been asking for this. not so much due to aim assist, but because of the desync issues between PC and console. I am typically insta killed by console players if they are looking at me. usually the moment I see them on my screen is the same moment I die. they receive less damage also because of the desync. its been there since day one, but apparently DICE doesn't care.
