Poor objective design contributes to the misery. It’s the same in a lot of Conquest maps. It’s why so many objectives and entire maps had to be overhauled in 2042. Lack of cover inside objectives and Poor map design.
When snipers and vehicles located 100+ yards from an objective can kill every enemy located inside the capture zone… yeah that’s trash objective design and terrible terrain design. Defenders never even have to PTFO by design!! WTAF DICE?!?
Terrain(hills, gulleys, drainage ditches, trenches, bomb craters), sufficient amounts of indestructible structures and sufficient amounts of post levolution debris located inside capture zones should require defenders to actually have to get inside the capture zones in order to defend said zones.
