Hardcore game modes only being available through portal was bound to be an issue in general, because they did the exact same thing with 2042. Promise full progression and then ditch that idea the second someone finds out they can y'know...progress in portal. With no creativity in how to lock down lobbies that are more than 50% bots they just cast the widest net and nerf 60% of their game's progress. This is exactly why I refused to buy this game and I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
