Nube tube damage

I've been playing battlefield for years and I found the nube tube HE grenade to be a little under powered. It seems like you really have to directly hit enemies with it to get a kill.

I think they did this balancing because the maps seem to be a little smaller. I think the nube tube damage was perfect in battlefield 4 and should use that as a base, and if not buff it slightly from bf4. 

There have been games where I got hit twice with it and didnt die.. I wasnt really watching my health but I was surprised I made it out alive.

Has anybody else noticed how weak it was?
